Day 1: Arrive in Cairo
Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, you will be met by Goway's local representative and assisted with arrival formalities before being transferred to your hotel. Your representative will provide any documentation required for your journey, including domestic flight details where applicable.
The remainder of the day or evening is at leisure to relax and settle in.

Lunch at a local restaurant is included during today's sightseeing. At the end of the tour, return to your hotel.

Today, transfer to Cairo Airport for your flight to Luxor. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your Nile cruise ship, your home for the next four nights.
After lunch on board, begin your exploration of Luxor on the East Bank of the Nile with visits to the magnificent Karnak and Luxor Temples. Karnak, developed over many centuries, grew to become one of ancient Egypt's largest and most important religious complexes. Continue to Luxor Temple, an impressive monument in the heart of the ancient city of Thebes.

Complete your West Bank sightseeing at the Colossi of Memnon, two towering statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III that have stood on the Theban plain for more than 3,000 years.
Return to your ship for lunch and sail toward Esna, enjoying the changing scenery along the Nile. Overnight on board in Esna.

Dedicated to the falcon-headed god Horus, the temple is known for its monumental gateways, imposing statues and intricate wall reliefs that offer a fascinating glimpse into ancient Egyptian religious life.
Return to your ship and continue sailing along the Nile toward Kom Ombo. Later, visit the unique Temple of Kom Ombo, dramatically positioned overlooking the river. Unusually, the temple is dedicated to two deities: Sobek, the crocodile god, and Haroeris, or Horus the Elder. Its distinctive double design features paired entrances, halls and sanctuaries honoring each god.

This morning, discover some of Aswan's highlights, beginning with the impressive High Dam before continuing to the beautiful Temple of Philae. Dedicated primarily to the goddess Isis, the temple complex was carefully relocated to Agilkia Island to protect it from the rising waters created by the construction of the Aswan High Dam.
Later, take to the Nile by motorboat and visit Aswan's Botanical Garden, set on lush Kitchener's Island. Enjoy time exploring its tropical plants and shaded pathways before continuing along the Nile, taking in the scenery of Aswan's islands and riverbanks.

Home to the magnificent rock-cut temples of Ramses II and Queen Nefertari, Abu Simbel is one of Egypt's most remarkable ancient sites. Begin with a drive to Memphis, the first capital of ancient Egypt, where you will see the colossal statue of Ramses II and the ancient Alabaster Sphinx.
Continue to the Saqqara Necropolis, one of Egypt's most important archaeological sites and home to the remarkable Step Pyramid of Djoser, considered the oldest monumental stone structure in Egypt. Your visit also includes the Imhotep Museum, the Pyramids of Unas and Teti, and selected mastaba tombs, offering a fascinating insight into the development of ancient Egyptian burial traditions.
Later, continue to Khan El-Khalili Bazaar, one of Cairo's most famous and historic marketplaces. Wander through its lively lanes, lined with traditional shops and local crafts, and soak up the atmosphere of this fascinating part of the city.
Lunch at a local restaurant is included during today's sightseeing. At the end of the tour, return to your hotel.
