With no scheduled sightseeing today in consideration of varied arrival times, take some time to discover Scotland's capital for yourself and see how medieval crossroads blend seamlessly with a vibrant modern energy. Day 3 Edinburgh
Start the day with a panoramic and walking tour of old and new Edinburgh, exploring Georgian architecture, writers and monuments, alleyways and hidden passages, and the dark and mysterious side of the city. Then, walk up the Royal Mile to enter Edinburgh Castle, home to the Scottish Crown Jewels. After a guided tour of the castle grounds, enjoy time to explore the city as you wish this afternoon and evening. Day 4 Edinburgh - York, England
Say goodbye to the rolling hills of Scotland while traveling south on a local passenger train to York. After an afternoon visit to the magnificent York Minster, the rest of the day is yours to explore independently. This morning, travel to Chester, your home for the next two nights, where ancient walls enclose charming Tudor and Victorian houses. Today, venture to the inviting town of Conwy in Wales. Visit Conwy Castle to discover the history behind one of Edward I’s most imposing castles and take a leisurely stroll around town, seeking out local shops, cafés, and markets. Then take a scenic drive to the picturesque town of Llangollen. Stand on the bridge to watch the fast-flowing waters beneath and take in the hustle and bustle of this charming, popular town.(B)

Day 7 Chester - Stratford-upon-Avon
Step back in time on a journey through the English countryside to Stratford-upon-Avon — the Bard’s birthplace. After touring the childhood home of William Shakespeare, join your fellow travelers for a traditional afternoon tea experience. Day 8 Stratford-upon-Avon - London
Bid farewell to Stratford and travel to the esteemed capital - London. Upon arriving in the bustling Covent Garden area, take some time and have lunch on your own. Then, join a local guide for a three-hour walking tour, taking in the iconic landmarks of Westminster from the outside, including Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey, and Buckingham Palace.
